CAMPI: THE OUTDOOR LIVING ROOMS OF VENICE
workshop 04 June - 02 July
When
you walk through the narrow streets of Venice, you will regularly be
surprised by beautiful open public spaces, called „campi” by the
Venetians. A campo (‚field”) is not the same as a piazza (‚square”), but
also here you will find playing children, gossiping ladies and drinking
students; the campi are in fact the living rooms of the city.
